Privacy Policy.
WitchySkills.com · last revised 20 August 2026
This is the WitchySkills privacy policy — what the house collects, what it is used for, what is kept, what is never kept, and how to have your data deleted. The fuller terms of service live in The Small Print; nothing here contradicts them.
1. Who we are
WitchySkills.com is kept by Lilith — a witch for three generations, based in England, trading as WitchySkills. For anything in this policy — questions, requests, complaints — the front door is hello@witchyskills.com.
2. What the house collects, and why
- The name you give and your question — used for your reading, and nothing else.
- Birth details, when a chart or numbers are asked for — used for that reading in the moment.
- Photographs you choose to upload for palm, cup or spread readings — read once.
- Your email and payment details at checkout — payment is handled by Stripe; the house never sees your card numbers.
- The House Book — if you sign it, your email (and name, if given) is kept with the date of your consent, used only for the house's own letters.
No marketing lists without your say-so. No selling of data — ever.
3. What is kept, and what never was
Not stored: photographs are read once and discarded. Birth details are used in the moment and discarded. Conversations with Lilith are not kept.
Kept: order and payment records, as UK tax law requires (six years). House Book entries, until you ask to leave the book — one line to the front door, or the unsubscribe link in any letter.
4. Cookies and counting
The house counts its visitors with cookie-less analytics (aggregate page counts — no advertising trackers, no profiles built on you). Anything the site remembers on your own device — such as an unlocked door after a purchase — stays on your device, doing its one job.
5. The helpers
Trusted service providers help with voice, reading intelligence, payments and hosting — each receives only what its part of the work needs, and none is permitted to use your data for anything else.
6. The house's own social accounts
The house posts to its own rooms elsewhere — Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook and Threads — using its own publishing software. That software holds the keys to the house's own accounts only, encrypted, and reads only the house's own posting statistics. It touches no visitor's data, and it never posts on anyone's behalf but the house's.
7. Your rights — and how to delete your data
Email hello@witchyskills.com with the subject Delete my data, from the address you gave us, and say whether you want a copy of your data, its deletion, or both. No account or password is needed — the house keeps no logins. It is done within one month, as UK GDPR provides.
- What gets deleted: your House Book entry and any correspondence held against it — removed entirely.
- What was never kept in the first place: photographs, birth details and your conversations with Lilith — used in the moment and discarded, so there is nothing to delete.
- What must be kept: order and payment records, which UK tax law requires be retained for six years. Nothing in them is used to contact you once you have asked us to stop.
If we ever disappoint you on this, you may complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The version in force when you used the site is the one that applies to that use.
